This policy explains how Zero Dark Group Ltd, trading as Warrior Culture ("we", "us"), collects and uses your personal data when you visit warriorculture.co.uk, buy from us or sign up to our emails. We are the data controller for this data under the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

What we collect

  • Order information: your name, billing and delivery addresses, email address, phone number and order history. Payment card details are handled by our payment providers; we never see or store your full card number.
  • Account information: your login details and saved addresses if you create an account.
  • Marketing information: your email address and preferences if you sign up to our emails.
  • Customer service information: anything you send us when you contact us.
  • Device and usage information: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and how you use the site, collected through cookies and similar technologies.
  • Reviews: your name and review if you choose to leave one.

How we use it and our lawful basis

  • To process, deliver and support your orders, including returns and refunds (performance of a contract).
  • To send marketing emails, only where you've opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email (consent).
  • To prevent fraud, keep the site secure and improve our products and website (legitimate interests).
  • To keep financial and tax records as required by law (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

We only share personal data with service providers who help us run the business, under contracts that protect your data:

  • Shopify, which hosts our store and processes checkout.
  • Payment providers, including Shopify Payments, PayPal and Shop Pay.
  • Delivery companies, to deliver your order.
  • Omnisend, for our marketing emails.
  • Judge.me, for product reviews.
  • Analytics and advertising providers such as Google and Meta, where you've accepted the relevant cookies.

We never sell your personal data. We may disclose data where the law requires it.

International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside the UK, for example in the European Economic Area, Canada and the USA. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved safeguards such as the International Data Transfer Addendum.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for six years after the end of the financial year they relate to, to meet tax and accounting rules. Marketing data is kept until you unsubscribe. Other data is kept only as long as we need it for the purposes above.

Cookies

We use essential cookies to run the store, for example to keep items in your basket and process checkout. With your consent, we also use analytics and marketing cookies. You can change your choices at any time through the cookie banner or your browser settings.

Your rights

You have the right to access your data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its use, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To use any of these rights, email info@warriorculture.co.uk. We'll respond within one month.
